ACV Elektrodendichtung 557A0095

The ACV Gasket electrode 557A0095 is a replacement gasket designed for use in ACV Prestige mk3 and ACV Smart E 130 Prestige Solo mk2 boilers. It seals the penetration point where an ignition or ionisation electrode passes through the burner plate or combustion chamber wall, preventing flue gas leakage and maintaining pressure integrity. This gasket is a routine consumable component that should be replaced during service, typically along with the electrode itself. It is part-specific and not interchangeable with gaskets from other electrode designs or boiler models. The article number for this gasket is 129.622.008.

When selecting a replacement gasket of this type, it is essential to match the exact shape, thickness, and material compatibility of the original assembly. The gasket must withstand high temperatures and corrosive combustion atmospheres typical of the electrode location. Before ordering, compare the seal profile against the original part removed from the appliance to ensure a proper fit. Gaskets of this kind are not interchangeable across different electrode designs or boiler models, so verification is critical.

Over time, repeated thermal cycling can compress or embrittle the gasket, leading to potential gas or flue gas escape. This may cause safety or performance issues, such as improper combustion or pressure loss. If a used or mismatched gasket is installed, it may fail to seal correctly, resulting in leaks. Regular inspection and replacement of the gasket during scheduled maintenance are recommended to prevent these problems.
