ACV Vertikales Thermometer 54403000

ACV Vertical thermometer 54403000 is a gauge used to display the temperature of heating water or flue gas at a specific point in the system, typically on a boiler body, manifold, or pipe. It is designed for use with ACV HeatMaster 45 and HeatMaster 60 models. This vertical thermometer is an auxiliary instrument that supports commissioning, monitoring, and service. It is a factory-approved part for these boilers.

Parts of this type are selected by measuring range, accuracy, connection type, and mounting arrangement. The working point of the system should fall near the middle of the scale for accurate readings. Common mounting options include immersion pockets (thermowells) or direct NPT/BSP threads. For vertical thermometers, the orientation of the dial and stem length must match the existing fitting. If the original had a capillary, ensure the capillary length is sufficient and protected from damage.

Items of this kind may fail by providing inaccurate readings, often due to mechanical damage, exposure to excessive heat, or capillary damage if applicable. When a thermometer fails, the equipment may show incorrect temperature readings, leading to improper system monitoring. Check the thermometer for physical damage, verify the connection is secure, and compare readings with a known accurate source.
