ACV Valvola di sicurezza 55426017

The ACV Safety valve 55426017 is a gas safety shut-off valve rated at 3 bar, with a Rp 1/2 connection thread and a capacity of 50 kW. It is designed for use in ACV Compact Condens 27, Smart Line SL 25, and Delta Pro S 25 boilers. The valve opens on command from the burner control only when the gas pressure switch confirms safe pressure conditions. The coil is replaceable separately from the valve body.

Parts of this type are selected by brand and series, connection size (Rp 1/2 to 2 or flanged), coil voltage (commonly 230 V or 24 V AC/DC), and function (e.g., single or double solenoid, slow opening, servo-regulated, or multiblock). Before ordering, ensure the connection size matches the existing pipework and that the pressure rating and capacity are appropriate for the burner output. Verify compatibility with the burner control wiring and the gas pressure switch setting before installation.

Typical failures include coil burnout, leaking seat, and seized servo regulator. When the coil fails, the valve may not open or close properly, causing the burner to shut down or fail to ignite. A leaking seat can lead to gas leakage, while a seized regulator may cause unstable gas pressure. Check the coil continuity, inspect the seat for debris or wear, and test the regulator movement.
