ACV Thermostat à capillaire avec sonde déportée 54442045

ACV Mechanical capillary thermostat with a remote bulb, SKU 54442045, is a temperature control device for ACV Prestige 24 MK1 and Prestige 32 MK1 boilers. It operates over a temperature range of 0-90 °C and features a capillary length of 1500 mm and a bulb diameter of 6 mm. The thermostat can be reset automatically or manually, depending on the model. It is designed to regulate temperature within the heating system.

When selecting a replacement capillary thermostat, verify the temperature range, capillary length, and bulb dimensions match the original. Ensure the capillary is routed without sharp bends and the bulb makes good thermal contact with the pipe or immersion pocket. The reset mode (automatic or manual) and electrical rating must also be compatible with the application.

Common failures include loss of charge, leading to a stuck-open or stuck-closed contact, or a broken capillary due to vibration or corrosion. Incorrect mounting can cause inaccurate temperature readings, resulting in improper boiler cycling or failure to shut down on over-temperature. Check for physical damage and verify the switching point with a thermometer.
