Oil preheaters

An oil preheater warms fuel oil before it reaches the nozzle, reducing viscosity so the burner can atomise the oil cleanly and ignite reliably. The component sits in the oil supply line between the pump and the nozzle assembly, and is especially important in installations running on heavier grades of heating oil or where the fuel supply is routed through cold spaces.

To select the correct preheater, check the supply voltage and wattage, the inlet and outlet thread sizes, the flow capacity, and whether the unit is designed for inline or nozzle-stub mounting. Connection angle and body dimensions also matter in confined burner housings.
