Oil valves

An oil valve controls the flow of fuel oil from the supply line to the burner nozzle assembly. Fitted in the oil supply circuit between the pump and the nozzle, it opens on a signal from the burner control unit and closes immediately on shutdown, preventing post-drip and protecting the combustion chamber.

Selecting the right valve requires matching the port size and thread standard, the supply pressure and rated flow, the coil voltage and frequency, the opening angle, and the inlet and outlet connection type. Solenoid valves with 1/8" or 1/4" BSP or NPT threads, single- or two-stage operation, and 24 V or 230 V coils cover most domestic and light-commercial applications.
