Tangential fans

A tangential fan moves air across the full width of its drum, so the stream is broad and even. In gas and oil burners it feeds combustion air to the mixing head; in boilers and water heaters it supplies the air for the flame. The fan sits in the air housing and is driven by its own motor; drum, bearings and cable set wear together.

To pick the right one, match the drum length and diameter, the air direction, the supply voltage and the way the motor is mounted and connected.
