ACV Anode 90021033

This is a magnesium sacrificial anode sized 32x270 mm, intended for ACV boilers and water heaters. It protects the internal steel cylinder from corrosion by attracting corrosive elements and degrading instead of the tank wall. The kit includes a glass gasket to ensure a tight seal. The recommended replacement interval is 1-2 years, depending on water hardness. It fits ACV 150, 200, and 300 series units. Installation requires no special tools.

Anodes of this type are selected by matching the mounting thread, length, and head shape to the cylinder boss of the boiler or tank. Before ordering, measure the old anode's thread and length to ensure compatibility. The mounting surface must be clean to guarantee electrical contact for corrosion protection. Sacrificial anodes are depleted over time as they corrode in place of the tank. A consumed anode may appear reduced in diameter, pitted, or crumbly.
