Description
The Ecoflam Boiler cleaning brush 65013444 is a professional tool designed for intensive cleaning of large heat exchangers and wide fire tubes. It features a 70 mm nominal diameter wire bristle working part with a length of 30 mm, and an overall length of 140 mm. The brush mounts via an M10 thread, allowing attachment to standard extensions or flexible drive shafts. It is intended for effective removal of soot, carbon, and coked deposits from boiler equipment.
Choosing and fitting
Parts of this type are selected by matching the brush's outside diameter to the inner diameter of the flue way, ensuring light contact without forcing. The mounting type must correspond to the drive tool: common forms include threaded connections like M10, which attach to extension rods or flexible shafts. Before ordering, verify the required diameter and thread type against the equipment's specifications.
Signs of failure
Over time, brushes of this kind can wear down, losing bristle stiffness and diameter, which reduces cleaning effectiveness. Signs of failure include visible bristle loss, deformation, or reduced deposit removal, leading to soot buildup and decreased boiler efficiency. Regular inspection of the brush's condition is recommended to ensure proper maintenance.
