Boiler filters, gaskets & seals

Gaskets, seals and filters are the pressure-retaining and contamination-excluding components found throughout a boiler or burner: flange gaskets seal combustion-chamber doors and heat-exchanger covers, O-rings and lip seals isolate hydraulic circuits at pump unions and valve bodies, and inline strainer filters protect control valves and nozzle assemblies from particulate in the fuel or water supply. Without sound sealing elements the system loses pressure integrity, and without clean filtration the precision components downstream wear prematurely.

Selecting the correct part requires the face diameter, thickness and inner bore of a flat gasket, or the cross-section and outside diameter of an O-ring, expressed in millimetres. For threaded connections the pitch and seating angle matter too. Filter inserts are specified by connection size, mesh rating and flow direction.
