Choosing and fitting

Replacement tubes of this kind are chosen by matching the overall centre-to-centre length, the nominal diameter, and the end connection type (thread or flange). Measure the existing tube between the centres of its connections and confirm that the new tube has the same thread size and sealing method. Verify that the pressure and temperature ratings of the tube are suitable for the system media (gas, air, or water) and that no gaskets or O-rings are damaged before installation.
