A gas valve is the primary safety and control component in any gas burner or boiler. It regulates the flow of gas from the supply line to the burner head, opens and closes on command from the burner control, and incorporates one or more solenoid stages to ensure safe light-up and modulation. Valves are found on atmospheric and forced-draught burners alike, on combi boilers, floor-standing boilers, and direct-fired water heaters from makers such as Beretta, Honeywell, Kromschroder, Siemens and Sit.

Choosing the correct replacement depends on inlet and outlet connection sizes, thread standard, operating voltage (typically 24 V or 230 V AC), minimum and maximum gas flow rate, outlet pressure range, and body angle (straight-through or 90-degree). Multistage or modulating valves also carry an electrical connector type and a pressure-regulation class. If you have an order number from the original valve or from a third-party cross-reference list, enter it in the search box and we will match it to the corresponding part in this section.
