Description
Spare part set for Kromschroder VGBF50..10 gas valves. Includes wear components such as seals, gaskets, filters, or diaphragm kits, depending on the valve design. Designed to restore valve functionality during servicing or after a safety lockout. Suitable for preventive maintenance and scheduled repairs.
Choosing and fitting
Parts of this type are selected by matching the exact valve model designation. The VGBF50..10 series has a specific configuration; only the set listed for that model should be used. Mixing components from different valve types will compromise seal integrity and may prevent the valve from meeting required gas tightness and flow characteristics. During installation, inspect the valve body for corrosion or debris before fitting new parts. After replacement, a full gas tightness test and functional check of the opening and closing cycle are mandatory.
Signs of failure
When gas valves of this type begin to show erratic opening, internal leakage, or slow response, replacing internal parts can often resolve the issue without replacing the entire valve. The burner control may perform a self-test and require a manual reset before the sequence can proceed. Check for signs of wear on seals, gaskets, or diaphragms, and verify the valve's gas tightness.
