ACV Heating element 5476D001

ACV Heating element 5476D001 is a 2200 W electric heating element designed for use in ACV boilers and burners. It is compatible with ACV Compact 15, Compact 24, E-Tech P 22, E-Tech P 28, and Delta Twin models. This part is a replacement for the superseded number 39554153 and is identified by article numbers 5476D001 and 129.844.003. The element converts electrical energy into heat for applications such as oil preheating or water heating.

When selecting a replacement heating element of this type, verify the power rating, supply voltage, and physical dimensions including insertion length, flange or thread type, and connection arrangement. Ensure compatibility with the intended medium and temperature class. Before installation, isolate the electrical supply and check that thermal controls are correctly wired. Inspect sealing components like gaskets or O-rings to prevent leaks.

Heating elements of this kind typically fail due to burnout, short circuit, or open circuit. Symptoms include no heat output, tripped circuit breakers, or error codes on the boiler control. Check for visible damage, measure resistance with a multimeter, and inspect for signs of overheating or corrosion.
