Description
Relay intended for installation in ACV HRbe-HLE boilers. The catalogue places it under plugs and connectors. This item is ordered as SKU 54762004.
Choosing and fitting
Parts of this type carry low-voltage control signals and mains supply between the burner control board and the system components. They are selected by connector series, pin count, pitch, and keying rather than by the function they serve. Other selection parameters include conductor cross-section, insulation temperature class, cable length, and terminal type. When replacing a relay, the associated connector interface must match the original in pin arrangement and locking mechanism.
Signs of failure
Poor contact in a connector can mimic almost any electrical fault symptom, including flame detection failure, fan stoppage, or erratic modulation. Connectors are a routine suspect during fault finding. Intermittent faults are often traced to the connector interface, so check its seating and locking.
