A pressure switch monitors air or gas pressure within a burner or boiler and signals the control unit only when the correct pressure is present. Mounted on the fan housing, gas train or combustion chamber, it acts as a safety interlock that prevents ignition or continued operation if pressure falls outside the permitted range.

To select the correct part, check the switching pressure or pressure range in millibar, the connection size and thread type, the electrical rating and connector type, and whether the switch is normally open or normally closed. Some models include an adjustable setpoint; others are fixed. A part number from Dungs, Honeywell, Huba, Kromschroder or any other maker in this section can be entered in the search box to find a direct match or compatible replacement.
