Description
The Kromschroder DG10U-5T gas pressure switch, SKU 84447313, is a pressure monitoring device designed for use in gas and air systems. It operates within a pressure range of 1 to 10 mbar and switches with rising pressure. The switch requires a supply voltage of 220–240 V and connects via a 4-pin plug without a socket. It is suitable for applications such as boilers and ventilation systems.
Choosing and fitting
When selecting a pressure switch of this type, verify the pressure range, switching function (rising or falling pressure), and electrical connection. The mounting form and process connection must match the existing system. Ensure the supply voltage and electrical plug configuration are compatible with the control circuit.
Signs of failure
Common failures include diaphragm rupture, contact welding, or loss of calibration. Symptoms may include burner lockout, failure to start, or erratic operation. Check the pressure switch for proper setpoint adjustment, diaphragm integrity, and continuity across contacts.
