Buderus Shut-off valve U054 19928637

This shut-off valve with boiler tube, model U054, SKU 19928637, is made of brass and operates on 230 V. It is designed for the gas supply line to a burner and serves to make up the heating system. The valve is intended for Buderus Logamax U052-24K, U052-28K, U054-24K, and U054-28K boilers. It originates from Germany.

When selecting a replacement shut-off valve of this type, match the brand and series, connection size (common trade sizes from Rp 1/2" to 2", or flanged), coil voltage (typically 230 V or 24 V AC/DC), and function (single or double solenoid, slow opening, servo-regulated, or multiblock with integrated filter and regulator). Check the coil voltage and connection size against the existing installation. The coil is often replaceable separately from the valve body.

Typical failures of this type of valve include coil burnout, leaking seat, drifting outlet pressure, or a seized servo regulator. When such a fault occurs, the burner may fail to start or modulate incorrectly, and gas flow may be interrupted or improperly metered. Check the coil continuity, the valve seat seal, outlet pressure stability, and the servo regulator movement.
