Description
ACV Vertical thermometer 54763007 is a temperature gauge designed for use with ACV Prestige 50 MK2 and Prestige 75 MK2 boilers. It provides a direct local reading of water temperature, typically mounted on flow or return pipes, buffer tanks, or the boiler body. This instrument aids in commissioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting by offering a quick visual check of operating conditions. It is not part of the firing sequence but helps verify burner modulation, pump operation, and system balance. The thermometer features a dial display housed in a brass or stainless steel stem with a rear or bottom connection, depending on mounting orientation.
Choosing and fitting
Parts of this type are selected by measuring range, stem diameter, insertion length, and connection thread. The working point should sit in the middle third of the scale for best accuracy. For replacement, ensure the thread size matches the existing pocket or socket on the pipe or vessel, and that the stem length reaches far enough into the fluid flow without fouling the pipe wall. Handle the stem carefully to avoid bending, which can shift calibration.
