Description
The Anstoss DCC 2/12 07000402 is an ignition transformer used in burner control systems to generate high-voltage pulses for spark ignition. It operates at a supply voltage of 12 V and is rated for ambient temperatures up to 120 °C. This model is version Ind.05 and is designed for integration into ignition and control circuits of burner equipment.
Choosing and fitting
When selecting an ignition transformer for replacement, match the primary voltage, secondary voltage and current, duty cycle, mounting arrangement, and terminal/connector type to the existing system. Inspect the ignition cable and electrode for damage, as a faulty cable can mimic transformer failure. Ensure the replacement unit's voltage and mounting pattern are compatible with the original.
Signs of failure
A defective ignition transformer may result in no spark during ignition, causing the burner to lock out. Failure can occur due to overheating, electrical overload, or insulation breakdown. Check the transformer for signs of burning or cracking, and verify the ignition cable and electrode condition before replacing the transformer.
