Description

Kromschroder gas filter GFK50R10-6 with SKU 81940090. Nominal diameter DN 50, Rp internal thread. Maximum pressure 1 bar. Equipped with pressure test points at inlet and outlet. Designed to remove solid particles from gas supply upstream of gas valve.

Choosing and fitting

Gas filters of this type are selected by connection size (DN and thread type) and maximum operating pressure. Verify the thread type (Rp internal) and DN match the pipework. Ensure the filter housing is oriented for service access. Check pressure rating does not exceed the system's maximum.

Signs of failure

Clogged filters cause low gas pressure at the valve, leading to flame instability or burner lockout. Differential pressure across the filter element indicates need for cleaning or replacement. Inspect filter element for debris or damage during maintenance.
