Description
Brahma Gas valve 13931500 is a gas valve with a nominal diameter of 25 mm, designed for precise control of gas burner valves. It provides opening and closing of valves when voltage is applied, with high heat resistance and durable insulation. The valve body and coil are separate components, allowing coil replacement without removing the valve from the gas train.
Choosing and fitting
When selecting a replacement gas valve of this type, match the brand and series, connection size (typically Rp 1/2" to 2" or flanged), coil voltage (230 V or 24 V AC/DC are common), and the specific function required (single or double solenoid, slow opening, servo-regulated, or a multiblock that integrates a filter and regulator). Ensure the new unit has the same function and control signal compatibility; a slow-opening valve must not be swapped for a standard quick-opening one unless the burner control is reconfigured. Always install a new gasket on flanged connections and test for gas tightness after replacement.
Signs of failure
Typical failures in valves of this class include coil burnout, leaking seat, drifting outlet pressure, and a seized servo regulator. If the valve does not open, check that the coil receives voltage from the burner control and that the gas pressure switch is closed. Also verify that the pneumatic link (if present) is not blocked or leaking.
