Description
The De Dietrich Thermocouple KVT 60 L5000 (SKU 7879905) is a replacement part designed for temperature control in De Dietrich heating equipment. It transmits temperature data to the boiler's control system, ensuring stable and safe operation. This thermocouple is compatible with De Dietrich heating systems and is used for service and repair purposes.
Choosing and fitting
Thermocouples of this type are selected by matching the model and length to the specific boiler model. Before ordering, verify the thermocouple's length and connection type against the original part. Installation typically involves removing the old thermocouple and securing the new one in the same position, ensuring proper contact with the flame.
Signs of failure
When a thermocouple fails, the boiler may fail to ignite or may shut off unexpectedly. Common signs include a pilot light that goes out shortly after lighting or a burner that does not stay lit. Check the thermocouple for damage or wear, and test its voltage output with a multimeter to confirm functionality.
