Choosing and fitting

When selecting a replacement oil nozzle, ensure the capacity (GPH), spray angle, and spray pattern match the burner's specifications. The nozzle must be compatible with the burner's fuel type and pressure. Installation involves removing the old nozzle and installing the new one with proper torque, ensuring no debris enters the fuel line.

Signs of failure

Common failure modes include clogging due to dirt or carbon buildup, which can cause uneven flame, soot formation, or difficulty igniting. A worn or damaged nozzle may lead to poor combustion, increased fuel consumption, or burner shutdown. Regular inspection and replacement are recommended to maintain optimal performance.
