Application Large Burners	smooth ignition and efficient combustion in larger burners
Function	spray fuel in right volume and shape for efficient combustion
High Flow Behavior	spray pattern becomes progressively more hollow at higher flow rates
Nozzle Type	B

Choosing and fitting

Oil nozzles of this type are selected based on capacity (GPH), spray angle, and spray pattern to match the burner's requirements. When replacing, ensure the nozzle's flow rate and angle correspond to the manufacturer's specifications for the burner. The nozzle threads and dimensions must be compatible with the burner's adapter. Always compare the old nozzle's markings with the new one before installation.

Signs of failure

Common failures include clogging due to dirt or debris, which can cause uneven spray, poor combustion, or soot buildup. A worn or damaged nozzle may lead to ignition problems, flame instability, or increased fuel consumption. Check the nozzle for blockages or wear if the burner exhibits these issues.
