Choosing and fitting

Oil nozzles of this type are selected based on three parameters that must match the burner data plate: flow rate (in US gallons per hour or kg/h at a reference pressure, typically 7 bar or 100 psi), spray angle (commonly between 30° and 80°), and spray pattern (hollow cone, solid cone, or semi-solid cone). The thread size (usually 1/8" or 1/4" BSP or NPT) must also fit the nozzle adaptor. When replacing, ensure the nozzle is clean and free from damage, and check that the O-ring or sealing washer is in good condition to prevent leaks.
