Description
The Delavan P0150-60W1 is an oil nozzle with a flow rate of 1.5 GPH and a 60° spray angle. Its spray pattern is type W. It is used to atomise fuel oil in a burner's combustion head. The nozzle meters oil at the rated flow and shapes the spray for the flame.

Choosing and fitting
Oil nozzles of this type are selected by matching the flow rate, spray angle and spray pattern to the burner and combustion chamber. The mounting thread and nozzle body length must also match the nozzle holder. Before ordering, compare the markings on the old nozzle with the required ratings.
Signs of failure
Nozzles of this kind can clog, wear at the orifice, or develop a distorted spray pattern. The burner may then run roughly, produce smoke, fail to ignite, or show an unstable flame. Check the nozzle for blockage, wear and spray shape, and replace it if the pattern is uneven.
