Oil nozzles

The oil nozzle atomises fuel oil under pressure and delivers it into the combustion chamber in a fine spray pattern. It sits at the end of the oil supply line, mounted in the burner gun assembly, and determines the flow rate, spray angle and droplet size that together define combustion quality and efficiency.

Selecting the correct nozzle depends on flow rate in gallons per hour or kilograms per hour, spray angle in degrees, spray pattern type such as solid or hollow cone, and the thread or mounting standard. The designation stamped on the nozzle body or printed on the brass hex typically encodes these parameters.
