Description
The Monarch Oil nozzle 3.50GPH / 45PLP is an oil burner nozzle with a flow rate of 3.5 GPH, a 45 ° spray angle, and a PLP spray pattern. It meters and atomises fuel oil for combustion in an oil-fired burner. The 45 ° angle defines the cone of the spray, and the PLP pattern defines the shape of the spray distribution.

Choosing and fitting

The mounting form and thread must match the nozzle adapter or burner body before ordering. The spray angle and pattern must be compared with the original nozzle marking, since a different angle or pattern changes the flame shape.
Signs of failure
Nozzles of this type commonly fail by clogging, wear of the orifice, or a distorted spray pattern. The equipment may then show a weak or uneven flame, delayed ignition, soot deposits, or a rise in flue gas temperature. Check the nozzle strainer, the electrode setting, and the oil pressure before replacing the nozzle.
