Description
The Danfoss 030H6134 is an oil nozzle with a flow rate of 2.25 GPH and a 60° spray angle. Its spray pattern is type H. It is used to atomise fuel oil into a spray suitable for combustion in an oil burner. The nozzle meters the oil flow and shapes the spray cone according to its rated angle and pattern.

Choosing and fitting
Nozzles of this type are selected by matching the flow rate, spray angle and spray pattern to the burner manufacturer's specification. The mounting thread and the nozzle body length must also match the nozzle holder on the burner. Before ordering, compare the markings on the old nozzle with the required values and check the seat and the holder for damage.
Signs of failure
Nozzles of this kind can clog, wear at the orifice, or develop a distorted spray pattern over time. When this happens the burner may run roughly, produce smoke, fail to ignite, or show an unstable flame. Check the nozzle for blockage, wear and spray shape, and replace it if the pattern is uneven or the flow is reduced.
