Description
This Danfoss oil nozzle is a consumable precision part, SKU 030H6918. It is rated at 0.85 gallons per hour (3.31 kg/h) and produces a hollow spray pattern. Choosing and fitting
For this type of nozzle, selection is based on flow rate, spray angle, and spray pattern, which must all match the burner manufacturer's data plate. The thread size is standard for the class, but the new nozzle must seat correctly in the burner head. When replacing, always use a new gasket or O-ring if one is provided.
Signs of failure
If the orifice becomes contaminated or distorted, the spray will be altered and combustion will degrade. A nozzle with the correct flow rate but a wrong spray pattern can cause sooting, pulsation, or unstable ignition.
